Receiving Payment
Once your items are listed for sale, they may be purchased at any time by other
registered Stamps2Go users.
When a buyer completes his purchase, and we receive his payment, you will be
notified of the sale details by E-Mail.
Anyone with items listed for sale, should check their E-Mail on a regular basis
(preferably every day, but at least once every three days). You will have five
days from the date the sale notification is sent to acknowledge the order by
logging in to Stamps2Go and
entering a shipping date for the order. This is done by selecting 'View Sales
Orders' on your 'MyAccount' page. Then select to view the details of the order.
Click the 'Enter Shipping Date' button. If five days pass without any contact
from you, we will assume you are no longer active, cancel the order, and refund
the buyer's payment.
We have also provided a 'Cancel' button for the sales order, which should only
be used in extraordinary circumstances. For example, if you receive a sales
order, and for some reason cannot deliver the items requested, you may click
'Cancel' to cancel the order. Keep in mind that as a Stamps2Go
seller you are obligated to fulfill any order you receive - sellers who cancel
orders, or fail to acknowledge orders, more than a few times risk having their
seller status revoked.
After you acknowledge the order and provide a shipping date, we will credit the
sale proceeds to your Stamps2Go
account. Your current account balance will be displayed on the MyAccount page.
The amount available for withdrawal is subject to the Stamps2Go
Escrow Policy.
At any time you may request a transfer of all or part of your available Stamps2Go account balance to your PayPal account. This is done by clicking the 'Pay Me Now' button on the MyAccount page. Please allow up to 72 hours for us to process your transfer request.
Many sellers may want to transfer their Stamps2Go balance to their PayPal account after every sale. However, if you have a PayPal Preferred or Business account, you can reduce the fees you pay to PayPal by making transfers less frequently. The balance in your Stamps2Go account may also be used when purchasing stamps. So if you buy stamps as well as sell them, you can avoid PayPal fees by leaving a balance in your Stamps2Go account for future purchases.
