Seller Fees

There is no charge for listing your stamps on Stamps2Go. However, in the interest of staying solvent, we do charge a fee if your items are sold. The current fee schedule is shown below.

When calculating the sales fee, the Sale Amount is considered to be the total selling price of all items sold in a transaction, not including shipping. A minimum fee of 70 cents is imposed if the total calculated fee is less than 70 cents, but in no case will the fee be more than the total selling price.

Order Cancellation Fee

If you deliberately cancel an order that you have received, or if Stamps2Go must cancel an order because you fail to acknowledge it within five days, a cancellation fee will be charged. The amount of the cancellation fee will be the same as would have been charged if the sale were completed successfully. Unfortunately, since Paypal does not refund fees on refunds or cancellations, we must also follow this policy.

There are two reasons for having a cancellation fee. Most importantly, it compensates Stamps2Go for the PayPal fee we incur when we collect the buyer's payment. It also acts as a deterrent to discourage sellers from needlessly cancelling orders or neglecting to acknowledge orders in a timely manner.

Cross-Border Currency Fee

If the buyer is in a country other than the United States, we impose an additional cross-border currency fee of 1.5 percent. This fee is necessary to offset an additional fee charged by the PayPal payment service for receiving payment from a foreign country.

Featured Item Fee

As an option, you may elect to "Feature" a sale item so that it appears randomly at the right side of the Stamps2Go listing page along with a thumbnail image. This optional fee is deducted from your Stamps2Go account immediately when you first elect to "Feature" an item. The featured item fee is 10 cents ($0.10). An item remains "Featured" until it is clicked on 20 times, or until it is sold.

Special Offer Fee

As an option, you may elect to create a "Special Offer" that will display randomly at the right side of the Stamps2Go listing page. This optional fee is deducted from your Stamps2Go account immediately when you first create a "Special Offer". The Special Offer fee is 1 cent ($.01) for each "Special Offer click". A minimum of 10 clicks must be purchased.
